Why is it 'wrong'?

Continuing to play Antonio defensively is just wrong. I seriously question Bilic's judgement on this.

"We have lost a lot of players and we have bought a few in, all freebies."

we sold tomkins, release job (who hardly played) and sent back song and emenike from loan. signed lanzini on a perm, brought two very decent free signings (not sure why people seem to take freebies as a negative? weird) and have tore on loan with a view to a perm deal. on top of that fletcher and martinez could both play parts, especially in europa league. burke is a ready made replacement for tomkins.

we do need two good strikers, and obviously when they come in then valencia and sakho will depart. id like left back cover.

I have concerns on several fronts, however not bothered about losing games in pre season.

My concerns are around Sullivan not delivering Slav with a squad where we can compete next season.

We have lost a lot of players and we have bought a few in, all freebies.

I'm wondering if we have all of our focus on 2 things, the stadium move and the selling of that and Sullivan's obsession with spending large on a forward, any forward.

The wholes left behind with the departures have been partially filled yet we are at least 4-5 players light in having a competitive squad to fight on so many fronts, probably more if Sakho and Valencia leave.

For then Sullivan to come out and say if we don't get a new forward then we have enough is a fucking major worry and I'm sure it's not going down great out in Austria.

Jesus fucking Christ.

Some of you lot need some real worries in life.

I definitely wouldn't be proud if I was that flakey about a fucking summer friendly where 16 year olds are playing.

I mean seriously, get a fucking hold of yourselves.

Shot was harsh, terry. Poked in the eye maybe
To be honest I don't think anyone should get too stressed about anyone's performance in what is a training block.
We played two days in a row presumably along with training sessions.
Squad wise I think we are well ahead of this time last year and Bilic is probably in a better position to negotiate getting players ready for Chelsea and winning a couple of Europa games.

I still don't want him to play Antonio at right back but I'd prefer to concentrate on the positives ..... I believe Feghouli and Fletcher have looked good and he is getting a good look at the young players to assess them.
Hopefully by next week we are fit enough not to be conceding late goals to Sporting Scrabble or whatever they are called.

I know it's a friendly but we are a proud football club with a proud history aren't we? And 3-0 defeats to Russian and American League sides is hard to take. Friendlies or not they were fucking awful.

We will still turn over Chelsea ;)

Best if I don't offer my opinions on various players performances then.
I might get hunted down and shot.

Ps to Bilic. Get your finger out or we could be up shit creek without a paddle soon.

We had all this crying and wailing last pre-season, and genuine calls for the manager's head. Nothing fucking new is it?

Re: West Ham United v Rubin Kazan
All preseason matches should be played behind closed doors and anyone who looks over the wall should be hunted down and shot.
The players should play in unnumbered shirts and balaclavas.

I expect the line up on Saturday will be as near as dammit to the first leg EL game.
Reid and Carroll will have to play in this otherwise won't have the match fitness required.

I fear the US tour will fuck up our season. We look knackered.

Just a warm up game on an obscure training ground... Still much of the first team not fit or missing.

Absolutely nothing to see here, move on.

We haven't improved the squad and given we didn't exactly end last season like an express train, we should have
Need to get cracking in the market and show a bit of invention.
A relegation struggle in our first season at the Olympic Stadium would be a bit of a bummer

Re: West Ham United v Rubin Kazan
Very, very poor with just a week or so until competition. Obviously the scoreline is irrelevant, but it does underline how disjointed we have been. Very few attacking phases of play, barely any shots, haphazard defending etc... I realise none of these lineups represent an ideal starting eleven, but still very disappointing performances considering some of the players on show. Not sure how this is better than playing Dagenham, Colchester, Ipswich etc... Hope no fans are being charged for these training sessions, and have to assume this show was all part of a plan. Losing is fine, but you do want to see some shape and endeavour. Meh.

Shit?

No way.

They were pinging it about like Barca at times, but without Barca's pace, thankfully, or it would have been 10-0.
